My name is Michael and this is my blog on attempting to complete a Higher Degree by Research Leading to Doctor of Philosophy (Psychology). Oh yes it sounds very grand but in fact 50% of doctoral students are quitters. Apologies, that was not very PC, I meant non-completers. This blog is to contribute to me sustaining the marathon of doctoral research.  A plastic cup of luke warm water when I most need it.

This blog is to reduce the chance of me mumbling completely to myself, to actualize on paper my thoughts, reflections, consideration, goals, and vulnerabilities, when attempting the impossible. If you are reading this and are not my supervisor or my Da (aka. the old goat), or close friend, then I would be very surprised. If you are it’s meant to be raw; any tipos or grammar bad is my usual un-proofed stylie.
